CD-DA X-Tractor
The X-Tractor MP3 converter can be found on the Source Forge website and is utilizable on Windows 95/98/NT and 2000. The program includes jitter correction and encoding on the fly. The CD Ripper is naturally a free download but it does come with a Help forum and an Open Discussion forum for its users although the project is now no longer under development.
There isn't that much information available about this software package and it was last updates in 2003 so customer feedback requests are likely to be fruitless but we do know that the latest version includes OGG support.
Although the forums will not be updated by the admin anymore some members are still posting there once in a while. The problem being, some posts can be years apart so there is little in the way of live support for this project. However, you can have a detailed read of the help forum if you do get stuck as there have been a lot of useful posts and solutions posted in here for users to enjoy. You can also get the source code for this project but because it's outdated you may experience compiler issues for this MP3 converter.
